I am big fan of gender equality, be it in wage compensation, recognition, and respect, but even if we do ever achieve these, men and women will always be different..and viva the difference!! Yes, men are men and women are women and never the twain shall meet, except when the fall in love.  With that said, I feel women do have to be extraordinary JUST to be recognized by most men, and that is sad.  But why? Well, it is because men have TOTALLY different priorities to women, and I think this story will explain why. One day a man decided to retire... He booked himself on a Caribbean cruise and proceeded to have the time of his life, that is, until the ship sank. He soon found himself on an island with no other people, no supplies, nothing, only bananas and coconuts. OK, I have been asked what would the world be like it we lead a dog's life, so I cobbled together a list.. * Always run to greet loved ones when they come home. * Never pass the opportunity to go for a joy ride. * Recognize the ecstasy of fresh air and wind in your face. * Take naps and stretch before rising. * Run, romp and play daily. * Thrive on attention and love * Avoid biting when a simple growl will do. * On warm days, lie on your back in the grass. On hot days, drink lots of water and find the shade. * When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body. * Enjoy long walks. * Be loyal. * Never pretend to be something you're not. * If what you want is buried, dig deep until you find it. * And, when someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently. Seems pretty complete to me! How much better would your life be if you could follow this?
