The Choice

Sometimes we think that "getting ahead at any cost" is the best choice for success and happiness, but sometimes, it is the true and steady course, or the long view, that gets you to true bliss. Another Look at Honesty

This little post is about honesty and how sometimes even good intentions can get you into trouble…oh I so fondly remember the countless times I was sent to the principal or asked to stand outside in the hallway…it is amazing I learned anything in school!   The moral here is when starting or running a business, no matter what...it is best to be honest..with yourself, customers, clients, vendors, employees ... everyone! …pretend you are in 3rd grade when you read this story… . Our teacher asked us what our favorite animal was and I said, "Fried chicken."   She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, everyone else in the class laughed. Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office. I told him what happened, and he laughed too. Then he told me not to do it again. My parents told me to always be truthful and honest, and I am.
