Until You Win... (motivation)

Sometimes, as we move through life, a few of us get lost..and need a little piece of motivation to show us what it takes to..be the authentic you. For entrepreneurs, this might happen a bit more often than not, but for all of us, we always need a bit of encouragement. Yes, we all go through tough times, and we have a choice.. go forward or to give up.. I pray for everyone .. to keep going. We all want to be something..but to get there ..you sometimes need to just believe in yourself, believe in what you are doing, in the great art you are making, to the world you are changing. Here is a great video and transcription that I hope helps. Where have you been? Why are you here? ..and where are you going? You look at your life, you look what you produce. Is it giving you what you want? Are you living on purpose? Are you living your dream? Are you acting on your ideas? Are you doing all you can do? Have you gotten comfortable? Are you procrastinating? Are you evading your o...

One Word Motivations

They say a picture captures a thousand words...and I guess the one word motivations do just that... Enjoy!

What is America?

Look at the wrinkled brow on my face and see the drought in a soul sucked dry by a cold and callous system of men without faith. Look at the tears in my eyes and see that an ocean of hope still wells up within. Look deep, past the years and the fears, and know there is always truth that might shorten your path, and broaden the scope of community. Look where you have not cared to look before, and give a hand up instead of a hand-out! Look at a proud flag flying over all of us, rich and poor, woven in the Maker’s image, for the protection of all those who embrace it. It is not for us to choose the conditions of that freedom or liberty, it is given freely and our oath and loyalties should be also. Look at your condition, and know the only safe harbors for any man in any condition, is under the banner of the red-white and blue. The muddy and bloody tombs of tyranny and elitism are strewn throughout the world where men have thought less of freedom and love, So look long and fondly at the s...

Hope and a Reindeer

I hope all finds you well during this holiday season and for Christmas. If you believe or not what happened all those years ago, the season is about hope, joy, good will and for a better world. These are now universal thoughts, that were birthed in a little town of Bethlehem. In that vein, and since everyday is Fryday, I would like to share another story of hope..about how Rudolph the Red-nosed reindeer came to pass. We all have a little misery come into our lives now and the, it is what we do with it that counts. Enjoy, and Merry Christmas..   A man named Bob May, depressed and brokenhearted, stared out his drafty apartment window into the chilling December night. His 4-year-old daughter Barbara sat on his lap quietly sobbing. Bob's wife, Evelyn, was dying of cancer. Little Barbara couldn't understand why her mommy could never come home. Barbara looked up into her dad's eyes and asked, "Why isn't Mommy just like everybody else's Mommy?" Bob's j...

The Most List

Yes, a new year and new decade is fast approaching, but I would like to point out a few things about this New Year’s Eve that are pretty unique. First, tonight we will experience a Blue Moon. For those who do not know, it is when a full moon occurs within the same month, and it is very rare to have it on New Year’s Eve (next one is in 19 years). Secondly, instead of looking back at the year, some time ago I made a list of the MOST. These are kind of universal in their application, and thought it would make a nice addition as I wish you a very Happy New Year. THE MOST LIST The most destructive habit: Worry The greatest joy: Giving The kindest word: Thanks The greatest loss: Loss of Self-respect The most satisfying work: Helping Others The ugliest personality trait: Selfishness The most endangered species: Dedicated Leaders Our greatest natural resource: Our Youth The greatest "shot in the arm": Encouragement The most effective sleeping pill: Peace of Mind The most c...
